fucking charles murray.
a basic overview of charles murray's opinions on the underclass:
poor people are stupid. more black people are poor. therefore black people are stupider than white people. and, oh, we should sterilise stupid people because they breed more than clever people and this is bad for society.
this makes me feel the rage like nothing else. i have never felt so angry writing an essay before. it is good for productivity though, as i just wrote 1000 words in an hour. i can actually work quite fast when i stop messing around on pacman and msn.
i am very hungry but nowhere is open as it is bank holiday and there are no vending machines in the library. i have 2p in my purse and yesterday i went online shopping. erm, oops.

Today I read about a species of fish which live for a maximum of 59 days. Imagine if you only expected to be alive for 59 days, and that was it. Sometimes I think humans are alive for too long and other times I think we don't live for long enough, but I think that perhaps people should try to start living as if they'll only be alive for 59 more days.

i just remembered that there's a picture of me on the juvenile hall livejournal community userinfo (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) juvenile_hall) looking bemused at the side of a moshpit, and i have no idea why. how embarrassing.
anyway, that is where i am going tonight.
currently having a fight with my hair while drinking wine. yay.
current essay word count: 1, 131
i'm also constructing an amazing presentation on advertising and consumption for next week's sociology tutorial. well, it'll be amazing until i start talking and go bright red and stutter something awful. god, i hate public speaking.
